Hamilton Returns to Fisher Theatre
Award-winning musical "Hamilton" is set to return to the Fisher Theatre for a series of performances this spring. The show will run from April 29 through May 17, with tickets available for purchase starting January 16 at 10 a.m.
Broadway in Detroit will offer a lottery for 40 $10 seats for each performance, with further details to be provided closer to the event. A maximum of eight tickets can be purchased per account.
Producer Jeffrey Seller emphasizes the importance of purchasing tickets through official channels to avoid overpriced or counterfeit options. "Hamilton," inspired by Ron Chernow's biography of Alexander Hamilton, features a unique blend of hip-hop, jazz, R&B, and Broadway music composed by Lin-Manuel Miranda.
Evening performances are scheduled for 8 p.m. from Tuesday to Saturday, with additional matinees on Saturday at 2 p.m., Sunday at 1 p.m., and a Sunday evening show at 7 p.m. Special performances include an open caption show on May 8 and an ASL performance on May 10.
